Richie Murray is an amateur composer and pianist from Glasgow, Scotland.

Most of his compositions are very simple piano pieces written and arranged for learner keyboard players at beginner level.

Richie takes his inspiration from many things, but mainly Scottish places and people.

Latest News - July 2009

Richie is currently working on a collection of short piano pieces that will be dedicated to the memory of his parents-in-law.  Four compositions are planned which will relate to places and views around Loch Ard and The Pass of Aberfoyle that were much loved by them and other family members.  These are 'The Ben' (Ben Lomond), 'The Narrows', 'Duke Murdoch's Island' and 'The Pass'.  Collectively, the pieces will be called the 'Loch Ard Suite'.
