Biography
Background
Originally from North Ayrshire, I now live to the north-west of Glasgow, Scotland.
Musical Education
My only formal keyboard training was a short series of piano lessons when I attended secondary school in the Garnock Valley. My first lesson started with J.S. Bach's Minuet in G from the Anna Magdelena Notebook and by the final lesson I'd progressed to J.S. Bach's Two Part Invention in C Major.
Musical Influences
My favourite classical composers of piano and keyboard music are Debussy, Chopin and J.S. Bach.
Contemporary composers whose music I enjoy include Richard Harvey and Malcolm Lindsay.
Day Job
Music is my hobby. At work I provide management systems consultancy to technology and IT businesses.
