Grand piano keyboard

Biography

Background

Originally from North Ayrshire, I now live to the north-west of Glasgow, Scotland.

Musical Education

My only formal keyboard training was a short series of piano lessons when I attended secondary school in the Garnock Valley.  My first lesson started with J.S. Bach's Minuet in G from the Anna Magdelena Notebook and by the final lesson I'd progressed to J.S. Bach's Two Part Invention in C Major.

Musical Influences

My favourite classical composers of keyboard music are Debussy, Chopin and J.S. Bach.

Day Job

Music is my hobby.  My 'real' work is providing management systems consultancy to technology and IT businesses.
